The purpose of this site isn't to slander anyone. It's not meant in any way to discredit the faith of the individual believers. It's not meant as a joke, and it's certainly not a punchline. This is the cold hard reality of an organization that exists today, who has hurt people in the past and continues to wreak havoc on the lives of so many all over this world. I am ashamed to say that this has happened in my country, to my friends and to my neighbors. My conscience will not rest easy until those who have violated the laws are brought to justice and those who have been harmed have received restitution for their grief.
I'm not asking you to believe me. I'm not asking you to fight alongside me. But I am asking you to please review the information provided here.
Most importantly, please come to your own conclusions. Follow your heart; let your conscience tell you if what has happened is right, lawful, moral, or humane. Educate yourself, don't let yourself be blinded to what's going on right now, today, right under your nose. Don't take anyone else's word for it - find out for yourself.
I absolutely believe in everyone's right to believe in whatever faith they choose. But I also believe that any organization that uses religion as a facade for criminal activity is the single greatest threat to our religious freedom. Any individual, any organization, that uses faith to control, manipulate, and abuse others does not deserve our sympathy and does not deserve our protection. Everyone must be subject to justice and everyone must be subject to the consquences of their actions, no matter who they are or what they believe.
